The Board is particularly pleased at the depth of business expertise Mark brings, having managed leading support services corporations in the UK, Europe, Asia and the US, all focused on customer excellence. His sector experience ranges from homeland security, defence, aviation and IT, to infrastructure development and engineering services. Mark’s task is to capitalise on the strengths of our existing business and customer base, and to develop the scope and scale of our security offering nationally, as well as ensuring that all of our clients receive an impeccable level of service.

Since its inception in 1997 St James Security Ltd and Touchline Event Management Ltd have been led by Peter Durham, one of the original founders of the business, which he set up following an illustrious career in the police force where he served latterly as Police Commander of Newcastle City Centre.

Peter has for some time made clear to me his desire to revert to a less active role in the business freeing up his time to pursue other interests and principally spending time in Florida with his family and grandchildren. In the immediate future Peter will work closely with Mark in order to facilitate a smooth transition of operations. Thereafter, I am delighted to say, he will maintain an active involvement working on special projects and specifically concentrating on the development of Touchline’s business. Peter will continue as a director of IPC International Corporation (UK) Ltd and remain one of its shareholders.

We have been fortunate in securing Mark’s involvement in our organisation with immediate effect. He is keen to meet our clients, advisors and associates as soon as possible, and will be making contact directly, working with Peter to transition these vital relationships.
